How a race is decided
There's no sign-up and nothing to click. Entry comes from the wallet itself.
Taken when you least expect it
At a random Solana slot after the previous race starts, a snapshot records every wallet holding the token. The 50 largest holders in that snapshot each get one marble in the next race. The timing isn't announced in advance.
Biggest holders start up front
Marbles line up seven abreast behind the start gate, in order of holding size from the snapshot. Larger holdings start nearer the front, which helps through the opening section.
Sales before the finish disqualify
At the finish, each balance is checked against the snapshot. A wallet holding less than it did at the snapshot is disqualified, and if its marble crossed the line first, the prize goes to the next marble home.
First over the line takes it
Starting at the front helps, but it doesn't win races on its own. Gates, hammers and trapdoors keep shuffling the order all the way down.
- Row 1 holders ranked 1 to 7
- Row 2 holders ranked 8 to 14
- Row 3 holders ranked 15 to 21, and so on back
- Row 8 the last place on the grid, holder 50
Ten ways to lose
The course drops through a dark arena lit in green, past swinging hammers, spinning arms and a long corkscrew. White sections shuffle the order. Green ones knock marbles out for good.
The Lock
A gate that slams shut on a timer. The front runners wait and the pack catches up.
The Plank
A narrow bridge with no walls. One bump and you drop.
Pinball Alley
Posts that split the pack and send marbles sideways.
Hammer Row
Three swinging hammers over walls low enough to fly over.
The Leap
A jump over an open gap. Arrive too slow and you fall short.
The Whirlpool
A giant funnel. Marbles circle until they find the hole, and the order gets scrambled.
The Corkscrew
A long spiral down through the levels, where the cleanest line wins.
Trapdoors
Three trapdoors that flash a warning, then fall open every few seconds.
The Blender
Spinning arms sweep an open edge. Get caught and you're off the line.
Last Lock
One last gate before the finish, so the end is nearly always close.
